We are looking for an Architect to join our San Francisco studio, where you will work with a highly creative team involved in some of the region’s most exciting developments in commercial architecture and urban design and work.

About the role

As an Architect at Hassell, you will join a team of highly talented designers, working on a variety of prestigious international projects in the areas of commercial workplace architecture and interiors, public realm and urban planning.

Our team collaborates with some of the best-known clients in the United States, bringing together strategic information and ideas to design and create places where people will love to work, live and socialize.

You will be responsible for design, documentation and construction phase services under the direction of senior team members on a range of project types.

About you

We are looking for a talented architect who is focused and passionate about designing places people love.

You should also have:

  • A solid understanding and interest in the practice of architecture corresponding to a minimum of 3 years of experience in coordination with team leaders, project managers and client teams.
  • Comprehensive design and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and related visualization software such as Rhino, Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project, and Adobe Suites
  • Proficiency in preparing presentations and project data in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides and Google Sheets.
  • High level of proficiency in current rendering software i.e. Enscape, Lumion, Vray.
  • Experience with parametric tools i.e. Grasshopper
  • An appropriate higher qualification in architecture
  • Registration as an architect in the State of California is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
