June 16th Chamber of Greater Fort Myers luncheon to highlight networking tips

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on June 16 will focus on “Networking in Four Simple Steps”. Luncheon guests will hear from keynote speaker Bill Utnage, Southwest Florida Regional Partner for Master Networks, a national business creation organization. Utnage will provide valuable advice on improving networking experiences, including information on effective networking strategies and methods for building relationships that last a lifetime. Utnage has owned and operated businesses for over 30 years and also owns Damascus Road Coaching & Consulting. Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Myers-Estero, located at 10450 Corkscrew Commons Drive in Estero. Stevens Construction completes Frantz EyeCare

Stevens Construction has completed the 60,000 square foot, two-story Frantz EyeCare and Frantz Cosmetic Center located at 9617 Gulf Research Lane. Designed to promote staff efficiency and the overall patient experience, Frantz EyeCare offers 44 exam lanes, a diagnostic center, retail, LASIK suite and cosmetic treatment center. The second floor houses Frantz EyeCare offices, employee training, a conference room and space available for rental. Frantz EyeCare will also provide the future home of Suncoast Surgery Center, an AHCA-accredited surgical center with four operating rooms and four laser suites slated to open in June. The Stevens Construction team includes Senior Project Manager, Jon Zander; chief superintendent, Tom Porter; project engineer, Matthieu Rigot; and project administrator, Gina Ferentini. The design team includes: Gordon & Associates Architect, LLC, Southview Studios and Quattrone & Associates, Inc.

Genesis Naples, LLC has purchased Tract 92, a 4.18 acre commercial site at Pine Ridge Rd & I-75 in Naples from Frank Clesen & Sons, Inc. for $4,734,000. Fred Kermani represented the seller and George Vukobratovich of Welsh Companies represented the buyer in negotiating the transaction.

Genesis Naples, LLC has purchased Tract 93, a 4.03 acre site at Pine Ridge Rd & I-75 in Naples from Frank V. Kralik Rev Trust for $4,000,000. Fred Kermani represented the seller and George Vukobratovich of Welsh Companies represented the buyer in negotiating the transaction.

Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company has leased 3,083 square feet of office space in the Renaissance Center at 9530 Marketplace Road, Suite 101, Fort Myers from Brookwood SFL, I. Randal Mercer brokered the transaction.

Berlin, Patten, Ebling, PLLC has leased 1,727 square feet of office space in the Beachway Professional Center at 3301 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 308, Bonita Springs from Klingler Properties B, LLC. Dave Wallace and David Wallace represented the lessor and Michael Mahan of Lee & Associates represented the lessee in negotiating the transaction.

Marcella Sousa Joins LSI Companies, Inc. as Registration Coordinator

Theory Design welcomes three new recruits

Howard Finkelstein brings more than 37 years of design experience to SWFL’s fastest growing high-end interior design company. Holding a senior senior designer position with the Theory Design team, Finkelstein began his design career in Fort Lauderdale and later expanded throughout Florida and beyond. Finkelstein specializes in high-end luxury design and construction from scratch. As a newly hired Design Assistant to the Conceptual Design Team, Kayla Koeller will play a support role by assisting with selections, sourcing products and materials, assisting with installations and tours as well as assisting with inventory documentation on residential design projects. Previously at Collins & Dupont in Bonita Springs, Koeller joins Theory Design to develop her design skills with her career goal of becoming NCIDQ and ASID certified. Also joining the theoretical design team as a design assistant, Lina McGill brings to the team a strong background in data management standards and documentation structure. McGill has a strong background in organization and detailed record keeping. She will lead continuous process improvement and assist in the coordination of design furniture orders and follow-up to ensure future installations go smoothly. This is a critical role for every design company and is particularly important with the current state of the global supply chain.

Diamond Custom Homes appoints Jacob Weiss Director of Construction

Diamond Custom Homes has announced the appointment of Jacob Weiss as Construction Manager. In this leadership position, Weiss will be responsible for overseeing construction and project management teams; establish quality standards and deliver houses according to standards; evaluate alternative construction methods for cost effectiveness and quality improvement; budget management and accuracy; monitor industry trends, code variations, and continuing education; supervise, instruct, train and evaluate construction personnel in accordance with Diamond Custom Homes core values; maintaining relationships with subcontractors; establish the workflow and priority of the work process from sales contract to completion; and design and establish processes for inspection, quality control, home visits and standard operating procedures.
