Pizza has a special place in our hearts and there’s no one who doesn’t love a slice of this cheesy delight.

So when we heard about the new pizzeria called ‘Diggger’ at Dhanmondi 11 / A, we knew we had to try their food.

New to the Chillox family, this restaurant is creating a buzz on social networks.

The general ambience of the place is welcoming and comfortable; a perfect place to hang out with friends and enjoy a meal or two.

As you enter you will see a bright orange Vespa parked nearby, giving the interior a retro feel. It also looks great in photos!

The interior is mostly painted orange and gold with bright orange lamps hanging from the ceiling.

There are elegant wooden chairs as well as comfortable sofas for the guests.

Although we did go to Diggger during lunch time, we didn’t find it too crowded.

However, in the late afternoon we saw groups flocking and some even waiting for seats.

The price range seemed affordable and the menu had something for everyone. We tried some of their pizzas, shakes, and appetizers.

There are 21 types of pizzas and they are divided into three categories: Classic, Special and Signature.

The pizzas come in four sizes: Single (7 inches), Couple (9 inches), Hangout (12 inches), and Party (16 inches).

The price of 7 inch pizzas starts at 230 Tk and goes up to 380 Tk.

9 inch pizzas cost between Tk 330 and Tk 480 and 12 inch pizzas cost between Tk 520 and Tk 850.

The price of 16 inch pizzas starts from 990 Tk and goes up to 1380 Tk.

From vegetarian options such as the typical steak dough veggie for steak lovers, the menu seemed quite interesting. There’s even a special spinach pizza from Popeye.

Other different flavors include tuna pizza and Kala Bhuna pizza.

We ordered the typical vegetarian pizza with a lot of doubts in our heads. After all, without meat, can pizza taste great?

To our surprise, the pizza, which was full of colorful veggies and cheese, tasted amazing!

They used copious amounts of green and black olives with yellow, red and green bell peppers and mozzarella.

Plus, the brushing with garlic butter at the end made the whole thing tastier.

You can choose multiple flavors for a pizza and we made a combo of Pepperonica and Chicken Alfredo. Pepperonica is one of their bestsellers.

While the pepperoni and mozzarella complement each other quite well, if the crust was a bit crispier it would have made the pizza taste better. But the sauce was the right amount.

The Alfredo Chicken Pizza had a generous amount of chicken. Those who love cheese will love the combination of mozzarella, parmesan and edam cheese on this pizza.

The sesame seeds make the crust more crisp while the small pieces of chicken sausage are absolutely delicious.

However, we found this pizza a bit too salty. We suggest you try it with the spicy mayo.
