Located in the 1900s Taubman’s Paint factory (curiosities fantasy) in central west Sydney, you’ll find an abundance of creativity, curiosity and hard work. Sibella can be found traveling the world, creating inner disturbances, recording soundscapes and delving into nature. She is a constant source of inspiration which, in turn, influences and dictates everything at The Society Inc, where we celebrate the romance and nostalgia of history, heritage crafts and crafts.

We are looking for a digital/ecommerce coordinator who can bring Sibella’s products and vision to the digital realm. Are you conversant in the digital realm but with a penchant for all things analog?

Do you know Shopify? Do you like Google Analytics, digital marketing and e-commerce? Do you have a keen interest in the Google Suite and SEO implementation? Are you fascinated by improving user experience, digital customer journeys and online sales? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a focused, organized and team player with good communication skills and a sense of curiosity.

This position would suit a junior to intermediate level candidate keen to pursue new opportunities and become involved with one of Australia’s most exciting homeware, design and hardware businesses. Shopify interview.

Site maintenance.

Upload new products and updates to existing products from Shopify/Cin7.

Keep the Shopify & The Society Inc. website up to date.

Maintain Shopify channels: store app, buy button.

Updated website content (Contact/FAQ/About Us pages).

Personalization of the online store.

Modification of HTML and CSS code.

Improved user experience.

Google Suite: My Business, Ads & Analytics, Search Console.

Writing texts, product descriptions and referencing.

Product photography.

Social media plugin and Shopify shopping optimization.

Improved digital customer journey.


Shopify skills and understanding of Shopify plugin applications.

A degree in marketing, digital marketing or UX design, favorable but not essential.

UX experience.

Copywriting and SEO implementation.

Experience with Cin7 software or inventory management, advantageous but not essential.

Basic HTML and CSS skills advantageous but not essential.

Experience with SEO implementation.

Google Suite fundamentals: analytics, Google paid ads and google shopping.

Experience with Google Paid Ads, Search Console and Google Shopping.

Skills in photography or graphic design, favorable but not essential.
