The 76 meter classic motor yacht Nuovi Cantieri Apuania Lady Saryaput up for sale at Privatsea, benefited from a price reduction of €4,000,000.
Originally delivered in 1972 as The Beautiful Simone, it was designed by Italian naval architect Rinaldo Gastaldi for New York real estate developer William Levitt. Shortly after giving birth, she was featured in the movie The Greek tycoon, a fiction loosely based on Jackie Onassis-Kennedy’s life with Anthony Quinn.
It wasn’t her only encounter with Hollywood’s finest, since her launch she’s welcomed a star-studded guest list aboard including Frank Sinatra, Harry Belafonte, Michael Caine and Sean Connery.
In 2020, she underwent an interior renovation that saw her rich antiques and custom-crafted woodwork updated and refined.
With its cabin of 1,032 GT, Lady Sarya can accommodate 11 people in six private cabins. A 100 square meter master suite is located on the main deck and offers two bathrooms and a separate dressing room with living room. Elsewhere, the remaining accommodations include four guest cabins with twin beds, easily convertible into double beds, and a staff cabin with a single berth.
A generous main salon contains multiple lounging areas and a formal dining table that seats 12. From here, guests can also take the elevator to the Upper Lounge which includes a bar, cinema and more informal dining area.
Stepping out, her easily recognizable twin funnels house an upper deck pool next to an outdoor bar with plenty of sunbathing and seating for entertaining.
Lady Sarya was built with a steel hull, aluminum superstructure and teak decks. She has a range of 3,200 nautical miles and a top speed of 21 knots powered by a pair of MTU 12V diesel engines.
