CONTRACT (1 year+) INTERIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER in LOS ANGELES (HYBRID)
-Must have ADVANCED REVIT SKILLS, EXPERIENCE WITH BUILDING DOCUMENTATION AND WRITING PROPOSALS

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Contract Interiors Architect/Project Manager (1 year+) to work collaboratively with their design and technical team on a variety of project types. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player with a background in interior design or architecture and proven experience in all stages of interior design, from conceptual design to detailed documentation. In addition, the candidate must possess a strong work ethic and exceptional customer interface and communication skills.

Job requirements:

  • Eight to ten years of experience in interior design or interior architecture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture.
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of current REVIT versions and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and InDesign.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relations and team communication.
  • Solve complex technical and design problems.
  • Manage multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including comprehensive documentation with structural, MEP, lighting, A/V, and signage/graphics consultants.
  • Develop design details with an understanding of constructability issues.
  • Interface with construction and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project.
  • Manage typical construction phase tasks, including but not limited to bids, RFIs, substitution requests, site observations, and site reviews.
  • Experience in proposal writing would be beneficial.
