“Although this is not the first space designed for the Romanian Commercial Bank, our architecture office had the task of designing a space with a new concept, on a generous surface of approximately 1000 m². The challenge came from the the beneficiary’s need to offer customers a space with a fresh design, which merges the front office and back office spaces in a fluid way, so that the experience is unique for all customers and employees The concept offers large open spaces combined with private chat rooms, with easy orientation to the space, so that the banking environment is welcoming to anyone who crosses its threshold. Our involvement in the project included the study part, the concept, the technical design, the approvals and the authorizations down to the details of bespoke furniture products.

We are happy to have worked within such a dynamic team with THETA furniture and more and that the result of our collaboration represents a space of reference for the Romanian Commercial Bank. – said Iulia Trifan, architect and managing partner of 1722 Studio Lab.

The Romanian Commercial Bank has been the company’s client since 2020, when we designed the branch space in Satu Mare (800 m², P+M). The interactions with the client’s team, the architect, the construction company and the internal procurement, design, execution and implementation teams, are the most exciting part of my daily work. Each project is unique, depending on the design and technical specifications of execution, with related challenges and satisfactions, however, banking premises require a particular approach through the prism of the end customer’s needs addressed by the banking sector. “Happy customer, happy life” is my motto and I believe we have achieved our goal in this project. – stated Aurel Gaiță, commercial director THETA Furniture & More.

“The development works are those that launched the implementation of the project, according to the organization of the site and the work schedule. There have been works such as: the demolition of walls, the execution of ceilings, glass partitions, ceramic floors, parquet and carpeting, the installation of vertical gardens, planters, caulking, formwork , the furniture it is the installation, the lighting system, etc. The last three weeks have been the most intense work, but we have managed to meet the deadline and the design of the project, so we have recovered brilliantly. – affirms Cristian David, THETA Furniture & More project manager.
